"Just received my copy of "The Complete World of Coffee"! First, the author was communicative during the Kickstarter, which was appreciated. Once shipped, it arrived quickly, well packed, and even personalized. Most importantly though, the book is excellent. I just got started, but it feels like a quality book. Excellent photos and maps, well researched, and clearly written. I have other coffee books and they all have value. (Plus I just love having books!). That said, if I were looking for one comprehensive book, this is it. Followed by James Hoffman's World Atlas of coffee. Kudos!!"
"The Complete World of Coffee is the most thorough coffee book I've come across. At more than 600 pages, Keith covers almost everything: where coffee came from and how it spread from Yemen to the coffeehouse, growing and processing, roast chemistry, water, grinders, brewing variables and troubleshooting. It never talks down to the reader. If you're new, you can go straight to the brewing chapters and beginner recipes. If you want to go deeper, the science and history are all there. Technical terms are highlighted and listed in a glossary, which makes the heavier sections easy to follow. You can tell the Keith has a passion, loves coffee, and did his homework. There's no snobbery or gatekeeping here, just a lot of useful information in one place. If you drink coffee and want to understand what's in your cup, it's worth having on your shelf"
"Great book. It has everything any coffee lover needs 🙂"
"I am impressed with how thorough this book is, and while it contains a lot of information, it is written well. The writer starts out by defining specialty coffee before getting deeper and deeper into the technical and craft side of specialty coffee. It doesn't hurt that the book looks amazing sitting out as well. Love it."
"Perfect guidebook. Save countless hours scouring the internet for an incredibly concise guidebook on how to get the best out of your pour over coffee. Highly recommend for advanced brewers and especially as a guidebook for people looking to learn how to get into the world of 3rd wave pour over coffee."
"This was a really useful book. I have some experience with espresso and pour over and found that this did present information in a way a beginner can use but was still worth it for someone with some experience to dive deeper. The author also lists a ton of resources to continue to explore after finishing the book. It was very approachable and easy to read and would definitely recommend to a beginner all the way through someone who has more developed skills."
"Calling all coffee lovers! This book about coffee is not only well-written and easy to follow, but it also features excellent summaries. For true coffee enthusiasts or those aspiring to become one, grab a cup (or two!) and dive into this fantastic read."
