Data & Methodology
This Atlas contains data from the site's published CoffeeOrigin records. The displayed information includes existing fields such as origin, region, growing regions, elevation, processing methods, harvest season, coffee varieties, flavor profile, climate, annual production, and geographic coordinates.
Some fields are not standardized across all records, and missing information is shown as unavailable rather than estimated or inferred. The downloadable CSV and JSON files contain the same underlying origin data used by the interactive Atlas, exported without alteration.
The dataset was compiled by Keith E. Lyons in connection with The Complete World of Coffee. It is the Atlas's published CoffeeOrigin dataset and is not claimed to be sourced from, verified by, or endorsed by any outside organization.
